i don't know much about that amp. i generally stay away from solid state amps now.... and line 6 amps in general.... but, if it's a midi controller, which i'm sure it is...
the beringer midi foot controller MIGHT work.... but i'm not positive on that.

I just know that I went to a Guitar Center in St. Louis and asked about it for him and they said that the $250 one was the only one that would work. I even tried the footswitch from my line 6 spider with the right ethernet cable thing and it didn't even work. I don't know much about or if the guy from Guitar Center was lying to me.

they make a two button footswitch that works. they're cheap. i've had both amps and both footswitches. it's not midi controlled, it's just a strange jack. you can find the 2 button footswitch for about 40 bucks, maybe less.
sell that amp before it blows a transformer, those amps are terrible. i've had let's see...4 different ones and they all sounded like ass when they got loud and were completely unserviceable. line 6 also has some of the worst customer service on the planet.
line 6 is straight ass except for their high ended effects modellers. and even those things aren't true bypass, eat batteries, and have shitty digital switches. fuck line 6 for real nigga.

well i saw a 2-button footswitch on musicians friend, but i wasn't real sure if that would work, but i was thinkin it would... but i love my line6 to be honest..of course i would have better sound stuff if i were to have the money..but i got a super good deal on that line6..600$ amp, and i got it for 250$...so yea, but i love it. I dont really have much knowledge on which amp is best and all, i just rely on my friends to tell me whats good then i go for it...but yea im trying to save up to buy bigger and better stuff...so yea

For 600 dollars, you can easily procure a decent sounding halfstack.
